From the moment our son was born, we knew he was different. It wasn’t until he was in preschool that we realized that “different”

was sensory processing disorder

Being a parent is incredibly hard.

If your child is scared...you carry them. 

They are bullied...you ache for them. 

When they are broken...you take from yourself to piece your child back together.


We started doing yoga with him to help him learn to breathe through stressful situations. 

And it worked. 

So we took those same yoga and mindfulness techniques into his preschool class. The teacher noticed longer periods of peacefulness in the classroom, more positive conflict resolution, happier children. 

And we knew we were onto something!

We believe in teaching children to value themselves!

Our philosophy of teaching yoga to children, provides kids with a variety of tools that they can take away from yoga class and use throughout their lives. We use a thoughtful and age appropriate approach in communicating with children. Through the relationships we build with our students, we use yoga poses, mindfulness games, nutrition education, music and stories to help them develop a stronger connection between their body and their mind; leading children to feel more control over their emotions. We promote strength in mind and in body. Breathing and visualization techniques teach focus, relaxation and self-control. The Kids Luv Yoga program also promotes inner-strength, confidence and self-esteem; a feeling of well-being and respect for others; and love for one's self, inside and out.
