Lizbeth Shainik - "Yoga for me is a lifelong journey, a practice of etiquette beyond the physical being."   Lizbeth embarked upon the yoga path, making conscious changes in her daily life at a young age. She encountered the physical practice in 2010 when she first arrived to Albuquerque. When first practicing yoga Lizbeth felt rapidly connected in harmony, and tuned in with her body and the mat. Pursuing this desire and integrating it with other intellectual pursuits, she completed Hot Yoga Downtown's teachers’ training, and at the same time finished a dual bachelor's degree in two foreign languages. Her personal story prepares Lizbeth for this journey, she has strived to incorporate her background in the health field into all of her work experiences, with children, young people, and the elderly.

Christina Macias - Yoga lover, nature admirer, fun loving, with a huge heart for kids and community. I hope to spread peace and love through my practice.

Her passions have brought her to the orient to study Buddhism, to India to study yoga, and to the Alps in Austria to study music. She is adamant about pursuing a functional and healthy lifestyle in order to fully enjoy her favorite outdoor activities: rock climbing, hiking, snowshoeing, bicycling, crossfit, and slack-lining.

Anna Wilkerson - Anna has been practicing yoga for the better part of two decades. Her passion for yoga and the peace and connectivity that it brings to her and her students is a part of the process that keeps her on her mat. More yoga = a better world!

Marisol Enriquez  - A long time Albuquerque resident and native New Mexican who fell in love with yoga in 2009, because it completely changed her life! She recruited many friends to try yoga with her and has spread the love of yoga to her very large family, too! In 2012, she decided she needed to help share it on a different level, so she became a yoga teacher, and since then, teaching yoga has become her career! Marisol has 11 nieces and nephews, ranging from ages 3-20 years old, and over the years has witnessed the eagerness with which Kids Luv Yoga! When a miniyogis (TM) training by Shana Meyerson was available in Albuquerque in 2015, she jumped at the opportunity to take it, and has been yoga'ing with kids ever since, in group sessions, as well as in individual sessions in her beautiful yoga studio, Hot or Not Yoga NM. Marisol strongly believes childhood is the perfect time to provide people with tools that can benefit them for a lifetime, and draws much inspiration from the innate kindness and compassion and truth kids show our world. Together, Marisol believes, we really can change the world, one person, one child, at a time!
